Together We Are Strong
Matthew 19:6 (adapted) says.... so they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together let no man (or circumstance) separate.

These are trying times we're in. With covid- 19, shootings, Black Lives Matter, protests, riots, and the 2020 election right around the corner, peace can seem to become obsolete, real quick!
Times like these can pull you away from your spouse, or draw you significantly closer together.
You Must Choose
Times like these can pull you away from your spouse or draw you significantly closer together.
Everybody needs to choose a side right? Like....
Do I think the "rona" is just like any other flu or do I think we all need to bathe outside in the front yard before coming in from a grocery shopping trip? Choose!
Do I support BLM or am I part of the problem because I don't support BLM? Choose!
Do I choose President Trump, Biden or Kanye? Choose!
We all must choose a side!
God Chose for Me
Yet, I think God made it perfectly clear whose 'side' I must choose.
Gen 2:22 - And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man....v.24.. and they shall become one flesh.
One Flesh
“This, crew, is not our home, so let's stop fighting over it!”
You see, I am one flesh with my husband and my husband with me, under God. Does that mean that we always agree on everything? No! However, that does mean that we don't let our disagreements pull us apart. Together we are strong! We can not allow life's circumstances to dictate to us if we stand together or not. This world, the things that go on in this world, will all pass away after Jesus returns. Why should I turn on my husband for that end. We must choose the side of Christ. This is where our hope should reside, on Christ and His return. This crew, is not our home, so, let's stop fighting over it!
The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. With all this fighting he desires to steal our joy, kill our marriage, and destroy the believer. Amongst other things.
We are a force
My husband and I, together, become a force. How? Because we stand for Christ. No, we don't agree on everything that happens in this world, but what we do believe in and agree on is Christ crucified. That trumps any and everything that could even possibly go on in this present time. People may try to come against us, but we are a force to be reckoned with. Why? Because when we stand as one flesh, we don't stand alone. Christ, the Victor, stands with us. He has already won the battle.
Yes, I know the world is pressuring everyone to choose a side, so do it! Choose!
The way I see it is, you have two options. Either choose the weak side standing with the world whose end is death and destruction, or choose the strong side, next to your spouse, standing with Christ, where the victory has already been won!
Choose!
